  1. Yes. Filipinos is Hispanic. According to the history, Philippines discovered by Spanish colonizers (Magellan and Miguel Lopez de Legaspi) and colonized the Philippines for almost 333 years. The religion (Caltholism)  and even the name Philippines also came from the name of King Philip II. So until now the culture and tradition the Philippines, have a vast influenced by Spanish.
